Distance Delivery
|
Paper-Based (Correspondence): Distance delivery via correspondence allows participants to use a comprehensive set of paper-based learning resources that will guide learners through assessment tasks and supporting content. Learners can access support from trainers via email or phone if it is required. This delivery mode is good for those students who may struggle to learn in a group environment or have variable time restraints as study can be done at any time. Online (eLearning): eLearning allows participants to access and interact with learning materials through an online learning system to achieve the assessment outcomes. Students are issued with a username and password via email so they can access the Orion eLearning system from any computer with internet access. Students' progress is monitored by trainers through the system and will provide feedback and assistance as required. Student may also seek support from trainers via email and phone. Students are not required to have extensive computer experience to do well using this delivery method as the systems have been designed to be user friendly and intuitive. eLearning is great for participants looking for flexibility in their study regime and can be combined with other delivery methodologies to provide an excellent blended learning experience. |
